The Chat Engine API servers at Kik use SNI (Server Name Indirection) on their SSL certificates. Some languages (Such as Python versions below 2.7.9) have poor support for SNI.
Python:
If you're using an older release of Python with Requests, you might need to install `pyopenssl`, 'ndg-httpsclient` and `pyasn1`, by adding them to your `requirements.txt` file or running `pip2 install pyopenssl ndg-httpsclient pyasn1`.

Node:
Some versions of Node.js also have issues with SNI when connecting to secure sites. The following article may be helpful in diagnosing and resolving this issue with your bot:

Other Languages:
Please consult your language's documentation, or reach out to [email protected] for help.
